Mice blogging with you.....

I have a breakthrough, an announcement, an overall declaration to the world...or the five or so ladies who read this...I have rediscovered the best medicine, the best antidepressant, the best high, the best speed, the best exercise, the best overall thing that has ever existed next to love...it is laughter. I have been laughing a lot lately, why? Either there are more funny things going on or I have let my guard down, or I am helping to create and foster overall goofiness. Whatever it is I LOVE IT. I love the laughing where it hurts. It's therapeutic. I love when I can't look at a friend because we aren't supposed to be laughing but are just about in tears. It feels good. That kind of tear causing laughter is too few and far between, is it because we take things too seriously all of the time? Maybe we should all just lighten up? Go on a low cal stress diet. Don't sweat the small stuff type motto. I try not to let things get to me and sometimes the way I deal with stress is by making fun of it. I really try not to be a mean human being, but there are some people in your lives that irk the shit out of you and you can't stand wanting to be around and you dream about putting dead mice in their mailboxes. Oh, did I say that aloud. BUT, even though putting a mouse in a mailbox is MEAN....it is fucking hilarious.....to me. And we all know, It's all about me. :)

Recently at home there has been laughter, at yoga-I thought we were going to get kicked out, at school it has been just plain old silliness. If an email about a lost paper clip can cause shits and giggles why not? If playing an innocent practical joke on a friend to help reassure her that she is losing her mind is available....go for it.

I have been thinking that there should be a rule in life, starting in the schools system promoting laughter. We say the pledge and mix church and state which isn't supposed to happen-especially with Bush in office. We are now supposed to support a moment of silence for each student to reflect on their own spirituality, let's see which liberal school districts will abide by that...( I personally think it is great, it is a double whammy....inner peace and spirituality and one damn minute of silence-I may push for the 20 minutes of spirituality if this one minute gig works). I think children should laugh. I think adults should laugh. Why not tell one funny joke a day? Or do something out of the ordinary that may make someone laugh or at least smile.

Here is where I start to drift. I have made my point somewhat, I am getting MEGO (my eyes glazed over-learned that in grad school, money well spent) and I am thirsty.

So all of my blogettes out there, smile and laugh-and if you have something really hilarious to share...blog it.....or watch your mailbox for dead mice.

my mom says you're laughing more now that you've met me. I wonder what that means. . .am I fun or, well, funny?

Now I have been trying to tell you that looks aren't everything...

I think the people I am choosing to be around realize the same stuff I do. If you take life too seriously all of the time, you are going to miss all the fun. Shits and giggles baby....
